More Cancun

Willie gave it the ol' college try.

Evie is totally in her element dressing up

Jake was not quite sure of it all at first, but Grammy brought Nerds as bribery and it took his mind off the costume.

Hallie was a marvelous "Joseph" and Claire was a lovely "Mary"

I love this picture of "Mary" with one of the three "baby Jesus" models.  Kallie was lying nearby on standby.
Matt was da man!  He stepped in when he was needed.  He's such a great uncle!

Chris and Tim kept everything from falling into chaos.

Brooklyn wanted little or nothing to do with it, unless mom or dad were there.

That's eight grandchildren plus a couple of extras!

For Christmas Eve we had our traditional singing of carols, reading of stories and performing a loose reinactment of the Nativity.  This year we let the grandkids have all the parts, with Matt stepping in to play the angel.  It was a circus, but a very cute one.  It's the first time we've had palm trees as a back drop and an audience that could see the ocean.
The whole family enjoyed the all-you-can-drink services, where we had our fill of virgin pina coladas, strawberry dacquiris, mohitos, mango tangos and more!  We became known as the "virgin family" since no one in our group had alcohol.
